Emily Mortimer

Emily Mortimer is a British screenwriter and actress who is also famous for her significant contribution to Hollywood movies. As a former theatre student, she has a noteworthy record, Mortimer has an unassuming personality. Mortimer was the protagonist of "Mary Poppins Returns," the sequel to 1964's beloved musical "Mary Poppins." The film was the beginning of a significant milestone for Mortimer's career. Mortimer was a quirky French assistant in the Pink Panther movies along with a determined and ambitious news director in "The Newsroom". Emily Kathleen Anne Mortimer, born in Hammersmith in the year 1971, on the 1st December to the famous lawyer and barrister Sir John Mortimer, and Penelope Gollop she was the sister of Penelope Gollop and a well-known writer. Emily has several siblings. Emily has a brother and an older sister who was born from the union of her father Penelope Fletcher. She has a younger sister with the name Rosie. Ross Bentley, a half-brother Ross Bentley is also a result of her father's union with the actress Wendy Craig. Mortimer was a student at the St Paul's Girls' School (London) where she was a student. Following her graduation at Oxford University in 1994 where she studied English at Lincoln College and Russian, she then attended Moscow Arts Theatre Drama School to pursue a degree in acting.
