Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for her role of Bo. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is director of drama and producer in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. Her father, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences of playing rehearsals with her mother. Silk was featured in many commercials when she was a young child. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. The early stage work she did included two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto for her acting to advance, then she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got married in December 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. They renewed their vows April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk gave birth to an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th May, 2016. Silk has played a range of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for a Gemini Award in 2009 for this role. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk announced to her fans that she was pregnant in January 2013 at the Showcase Season Three Special. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that she was ready to return to working. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production of the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top Television Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is the result, and its growing popularity on social networks has grown to a huge online following.
